Best known for his hits, "Lonely," and callabos such as "Locked Up," "Smack That," and "I Wanna Love You," Akon is set on recording a country western album. According to Akon, who has recorded and released a hit country single under an unknown alias, he wants to be the first black man to successfully cross-over into the genre. He says, "No black artist has ever broken into the genre. I'm going in under a secret alias and I've already got my first hit record."
